Matt Poling is a Principal at Ryan and is based in the Firm’s Denver office, where he leads property tax services related to the valuation, assessment, taxation, and exemption of real and personal property across state and local jurisdictions. He works with clients across a broad range of industries, including commercial and industrial property, hospitality, mixed-use developments, office, multifamily, financial institutions, and real estate investment trusts. Matt guides both client strategy and service delivery, ensuring consistent execution and defensible outcomes in complex property tax environments.

With extensive experience in property tax consulting and firm leadership, Matt brings deep technical knowledge and a practical, solutions-oriented approach to client service. He is responsible for the leadership and continued development of property tax professionals across a 12-state region, supporting technical quality, collaboration, and disciplined delivery.
